So the ‘Bout Damn Time tour is about damn done. Only 2 more shows to go. Please excuse my lack of blogs, but I’ve never had more fun on a tour! It’s distracting in the best way. When I’m busy writing badass (sarcasm) nu-metal songs with McPeters (The Bigger Lights), or sipping on whiskey while learning how to sing like a champ from Danny (The Audition), or hanging out with our friends and fans throughout the country…well then, sitting down in front of my trusty little MacBook and writing a blog feels like real chore!

Today is nice. A day off in Boise. We’re staying at Jakes house and currently we’re making crepes for breakfast (at 4 in the afternoon). Haha, Jake fuckin LOVES making crepes! It’s weird, but it’s just his thing. Have him spend the night sometime and I guarantee, you’ll wake up to him cooking crepes.

I can’t wait for Saturday! We’re finishing our tour with the biggest and bestest show at the Showbox in Seattle. Hometown show, baby! And this one is going to be special. We’ve been a band for far too long without doing this whole headlining thing, and we finally made it happen! It’s been a dream come true. The tour has been a huge success. I’m going home proud, proud of all the hard work we’ve put into this and all the times we’ve scraped by just because we love music and believe in what we do. I’m proud of the place we’ve come to. We’re a real band, we make real music, and we have a real following. DREAM COME TRUE!

To everyone who came to the shows, to everyone who sang along as loud as I do, to everyone who brought us something special, to everyone who expressed what our songs mean to them, and obviously to the bands who we had the pleasure of sharing the stage with, thank you! This tour will always be remembered fondly, because of you. Thank you, thank you and thank you! Cheers!
